once i was little boy in fort worth, texas living with my maw maw and paw paw and mommy.. then, i was an 18 year old 6'4'' skinny 165lb religious nut being dipped in a baptismal during a local assembly.. suddenly, i was 20 and listening to a jail cell door clang behind me as a conscientious objector.. wow!

23 years old and put on parole until my 6 years sentence was ended!

i got married to a nice jw girl and had 3 kids!.

Last meeting July 2008, did go to the 2009 memorial. Reason started out I couldn't find the KH. I moved to the ghetoes in NC after a divorce, public reproof, homeless three months and at last found a temp job for three months.

When i first had my own place I decided to take two weeks off just to think. After the two weeks I tried to find the KH a few times but started to realize I was happier and getting out of my depressed state.

Still thought it was the truth and figured when I went back to WV would go back. Went back to WV married a worldly man, thinking that would be better then sinning. The JW's started to treat me like crap, and then the elders were LOOKING for any loophole to DF me. This made me ? the whole thing. I opened the books, you know Coc, Steve Hassen and got on the internet. It took time and tears but I woke up.

Happier? Hell YA! I'm now alive

this particular article was discussed or touched on a couple months ago regarding the wt society's statement concerning jw's putting " jehovah above everything else- including the family bond " .

so i won't address those points in this thread, but there are many other points to address where the wt society uses guilt and black & white cult reasoning to control jw's minds with this information from the article titled, " let nothing distance you from jehovah ".

first off in paragraph 5 the wt tries to make people feel guilty looking for work and insists that if you get any job that takes you away from family- it will distance you from jehovah !
